Integrating Learning Objectives into Courses and Course Syllabi	From California State University’s Center Faculty Teaching and Learning Center: Effective Objectives Describe what you want your students to learn in your course. Are aligned with program goals and objectives and the rest of the students’ curriculum. Tell how you will know a teaching goal has been achieved. Use action words that specify definite, observable behaviors. Articulating Your Learning Objectives	From Carnegie Mellon’s Eberly Center for Teaching Excellence: Objectives articulate the knowledge and skills you want students to acquire by the end of the course, the assessments allow the instructor to check the degree to which the students are meeting the learning objectives; and the instructional strategies are chosen to foster student learning towards meeting the objectives.
